SANKARAN ASCENT
To ascend is to climb, to rise step by step towards a higher vantage point. Sankaran ASCENT – Advanced Sankaran Course with Experiential Next-level Training is built around that idea: a structured year in which practitioners move from solid foundations to a more confident, refined and effective level of practice, guided throughout by Dr Rajan Sankaran.
ASCENT follows in the footsteps of Dr Sankaran’s Gurukul programme, carrying forward the same manner of teaching and the same philosophy. It is, however, a new course in its own right, with its own structure, format and schedule.
For more than four decades, Dr Rajan Sankaran has practised and
taught homeopathy around the world, and his work has shaped the
way a generation of homeopaths approach the case. ASCENT
brings that experience directly to practising homeopaths who are
ready to take the next step.
Dr Sankaran oversees the course personally. He meets the group
regularly for Q&A sessions, discussions and clinical meetings, while
his co-mentors, Dr Sarah Coutinho and Dr Kyle Wulfsohn, follow
each student’s progress closely, identify where they are getting
stuck and help them move forward. Students are encouraged to
bring their own challenging cases and receive guidance on how to
manage them.
At the heart of the programme is a conviction drawn from years in the clinic: the best results come when the classical tools of homeopathy, the materia medica and the repertory, work hand in hand with the understanding of sensation, Superclasses and the 5 finger method. ASCENT remains well grounded in the fundamentals of homeopathic philosophy and method, while adapting and innovating with the latest advances in homeopathy.
The in-person sessions offer more than technique. Working alongside Dr Sankaran, students observe at close quarters the attitude and perception that underpin his ideas and discoveries, and learn to apply that same perspective in their own clinical work. The programme aims to transmit not only knowledge, but the approach behind it.
Highlights of the Course
Two years’ access to The Sankaran Masterclass
More than 185 hours of Dr Sankaran’s lectures and cases, organised into five carefully structured modules that lead from the fundamentals to advanced practice, including his most recent Superclass and WISE concepts and how to apply them clinically.
In-person sessions in Pune twice a year
Two sessions of five days each, centred on case-based learning with Dr Sankaran, where students work through the process of case-taking and analysis directly with him.
Monthly Q&A sessions, discussions and clinical meetings
The whole group meets Dr Sankaran online for two hours each month to ask questions, exchange ideas and explore clinical work together.
Monthly case on Zoom
Once a month, students join online as Dr Sankaran takes a case on Zoom, giving them a close view of how he approaches a patient
Small-group mentoring
Every month, Dr Sarah Coutinho and Dr Kyle Wulfsohn meet students online in small groups, so that guidance can be tailored to each person’s needs and progress.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
- Open to Indian nationals only.
- Applicants must hold a graduate degree in homeopathy
- Applicants need at least two years of homeopathic practice, not counting their internship.
- Participants should be able to set aside a minimum of 6–7 hours a week solely for the course.
- Attendance at both in-person sessions is compulsory.
ASSESSMENT
- Student progress is reviewed through periodic tests and assignments.
- A minimum attendance of 80% is required.
- A certificate of completion is awarded at the end of the year to students who complete the
curriculum, pass the tests and meet the attendance requirement. - Students who do not meet the requirements for attendance, assignments and tests will be
asked to leave the course.

Fee and Exclusions
The course fee is Rs. 1 lakh per student. Travel to and from Pune, and accommodation in Pune during the in-person sessions, are not included.
